Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrzej Badanowski started the match with the kick off. Leszek Cupial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Giovanni Demicoli hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Witarya came free, but Mike Axisa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Cupial in the 12th minute of the match. Andrzej Badanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Axisa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Badanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimmy Olsson was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Baran Erozan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baran Erozan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leszek Cupial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. In the 28th minute Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner. Marbjörn Garpsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Stefan Blomqvist made a great header on Linköpings AIK's corner, it was just that Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa managed to reach the ball for a save. Jimmy Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baran Erozan got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Linköpings AIK's Tavo Tomat quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 周斐俊, made in the 37th minute of the game. When Kim Bolas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Bolas couldn't finish the play. Leszek Cupial in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmy Olsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jimmy Olsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baran Erozan went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Bolas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Sliema Dragons FC's Baran Erozan to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimmy Olsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Bolas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Leszek Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Olsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Cupial in the 65th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmy Olsson. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda was substituted for Giovanni Demicoli. In the 77th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Mike Axisa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marbjörn Garpsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dejan Cassar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Leszek Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matteo Borda kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Cassar came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. When Baran Erozan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baran Erozan couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Linköpings AIK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sliema Dragons FC.
