After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Valdir Martins got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Walmyr Salles in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vilo Futbol Club's Matt Carabott. Fabian Emeterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Antunes in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Elias Figueroa got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fabian Emeterio made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Walmyr Salles sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Warka in the 22nd minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes Vilo Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdir Martins who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hugo Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilo Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Gonzáles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Almir Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Emeterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Vilo Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Alegría came free, but Fabian Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Innocenzio Corales got a free kick in the 37th minute. Edu Antunes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Emeterio. Fabian Emeterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmyr Salles was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Antunes in the 53rd minute of the match. Stefan Warka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Teles having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Vilo Futbol Club's Ismael Guilabertus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Vilo Futbol Club made a substitution. Delmiro Ospin replaced Matt Carabott. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Stefan Warka got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stefan Warka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jailson Teles made a huge save. Stefan Warka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Vilo Futbol Club's Hugo Gonzáles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jailson Teles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Vilo Futbol Club made a substitution. Prudencio Baleren replaced Ismael Guilabertus. 75 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Emeterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match AVAÍ F.C. got a corner. Vilo Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Elias Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabian Emeterio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the game, Silverio Dino threw the ball into play from the sideline. AVAÍ F.C.'s Elias Figueroa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Walmyr Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Emeterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Doriva Leão hit a great ball. Jailson Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 唐远升 in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Vilo Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Hugo Gonzáles went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Gonzáles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jailson Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute Prudencio Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Vilo Futbol Club played a much better game than AVAÍ F.C. and deserved their victory. The AVAÍ F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
