After 5 played minutes Bandung Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Popilean. Boquenses's Tobias Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Popilean in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Bandung Tigers got a corner. Boquenses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wang Zheng Yun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wang Zheng Yun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boquenses's Tobias Osoro did a great save. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes in the game, Rodrigo Ferdinand dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Zulkarnaen Mandaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Osoro. Boquenses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zulkarnaen Mandaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gregorio Tirso scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mekki Item, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mekki Item stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Sancho's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Fachri Puang got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 30 played minutes Bandung Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Fachri Puang. Zulkarnaen Mandaga scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37thth minute of the game Zulkarnaen Mandaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquenses's Tobias Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandung Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Zulkarnaen Mandaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Boquenses made a substitution. Teobaldo Oier replaced Rodrigo Ferdinand. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Sancho was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Severino Rey. Wang Zheng Yun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Osoro. Boquenses's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tobias Osoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Tobias Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Zulkarnaen Mandaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tobias Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Osoro. Boquenses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Oier in the 83rd minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zulkarnaen Mandaga got free with Tobias Osoro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bandung Tigers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! After 91 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Oier. In the 94th minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandung Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Tobias Osoro was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Zulkarnaen Mandaga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zulkarnaen Mandaga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bandung Tigers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
