The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Sagan came free, but Mekki Item reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Latkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Popilean in the 30th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zulkarnaen Mandaga made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Szymon Grunwalski could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Mekki Item however easily saved by the left post. Legia Warszawa 【L】 were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Bandung Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tạ Mara took the corner. The corner ended in Tạ Mara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item did a great save. Lech Latkiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. If Fachri Puang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
