Arnaud Konieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Miguel Carneiro made a huge save. With his leg Miguel Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Herblay's Dimitri Bougault fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermes Arruda during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermes Arruda hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Miguel Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Antonin Dagorne sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro got control of the ball when Arnaud Konieczny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Duusgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Duusgaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Duusgaard to maneuver through the defense. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Stars Academy from getting a goal against them. Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 27th minute of play. Arnaud Konieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Miguel Carneiro made a huge save. Dimitri Bougault in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Carneiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Herblay's Miguel Carneiro threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonin Dagorne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The Herblay fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Herblay's Antonin Dagorne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnaud Konieczny scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Cadart in the 66th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 67th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Dimitri Bougault who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Stars Academy's Américo Conde got a free kick in the 71st minute. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Arnaud Konieczny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Carneiro. Stars Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaud Konieczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Arnaud Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Carneiro having to interfere. Américo Conde hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Miguel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Miguel Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaud Konieczny went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After 93 minutes of play, Herblay's Antonin Dagorne made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Herblay were the better team. Herblay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
