The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Honcioiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gjermund Aabel. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Honcioiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ivan Óbolo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Gazza. Armando Gazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagene IF's goalkeeper Gjermund Aabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juventus PTM were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Sagene IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Hârțan took the corner. Gjermund Aabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 22nd minute of play. Armando Gazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Óbolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Honcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gjermund Aabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Knutsen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Ivan Óbolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gjermund Aabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 37th minute of the match. Gjermund Aabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Honcioiu to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinand Honcioiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gjermund Aabel. That made the score 1-4 in the 54 minute of play. Yenal Tanır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gjermund Aabel made a huge save. Sagene IF's Gjermund Aabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gjermund Aabel. That made the score 1-5 after 65 minutes of play. Juventus PTM's Patrick Viera was substituted for Laureano Belarmo. Juventus PTM's Gavril Stejaru was substituted for Eric Hârțan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Breogan got free with Gjermund Aabel in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorio Breogan scored 1-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gjermund Aabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorio Breogan in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Gjermund Aabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Breogan in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Yenal Tanır came free, but Gjermund Aabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Juventus PTM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus PTM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
