Salmuera CP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Bolli Bolla scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Maria, making the score, 1-1. 11 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Duca came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Florin Răducioiu hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Bolli Bolla made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Maria. Salmuera CP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Arnaldo Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Ruperto Maria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Arnaldo Queirós put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ruperto Maria. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolli Bolla was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fan Xing Zhou got free with Holger Mattsson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torcuato Herrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Maria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
