Juvenal Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. Bernardo Leiria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frits van Gaal went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, Ştefan Magheran notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria. Bernardo Leiria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valério Vilaça was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Bernardo Leiria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frits van Gaal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Leiria made a huge save. With an all-out effort, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Bernardo Leiria threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ştefan Magheran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Simão Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal came free and shot a quick shot against goal 62 minutes in the game, fortunately Bernardo Leiria had problems saving as it came toward the left post. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Pasha Opara replaced Juvenal Antunes. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Maicon Palmeira was substituted for Diamantino Neves. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pasha Opara in the 65th minute. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Maicon Palmeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Leiria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pasha Opara. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Leiria. That made the score 0-4 after 67 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Vilaça in the 74th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Liboslav Krušina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Bernardo Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria got control of the ball when Maicon Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Pasha Opara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Leiria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
