In the 3rd match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deividas Aukštakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Romualdas Motiekaitis made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Mel. Silver Play 2's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Jarūnas Kuliešius came free, but Jonatan Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daavid Šembera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jarūnas Kuliešius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Mel was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdas Motiekaitis in the 13th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Jonatan Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Chamberlain, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Daavid Šembera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Alytus United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 19 played minutes Silver Play 2 got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Ubarna. Luis Jakes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Jakes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Luis Jakes got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, FC Alytus United's Kris Chamberlain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 26 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Antunes came free, but Jonatan Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, FC Alytus United's Daavid Šembera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdas Motiekaitis in the 33rd minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Jonatan Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Jarūnas Kuliešius notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel. Jonatan Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes of play, FC Alytus United's Daavid Šembera made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Mel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Silver Play 2 defense, Jarūnas Kuliešius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Mel. The Silver Play 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Mel should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Daavid Šembera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarūnas Kuliešius to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Chamberlain in the 51st minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Jonatan Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Daavid Šembera came free, but Jonatan Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Mel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Chamberlain in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Jarūnas Kuliešius sped through Silver Play 2's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonatan Mel. After 61 minutes of play, FC Alytus United's Romualdas Motiekaitis made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Mel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Play 2 from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Jarūnas Kuliešius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daavid Šembera got free with Jonatan Mel in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Kris Chamberlain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonatan Mel. The goal made the score 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Alytus United's Jarūnas Kuliešius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Mel. That made the score 0-13 after 72 minutes of play. Jonatan Mel made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daavid Šembera sent off a good shot on target. Jonatan Mel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Alytus United's Jarūnas Kuliešius. But to his dismay, Jarūnas Kuliešius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. After 81 played minutes Romualdas Motiekaitis rounded Silver Play 2's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-15. Daavid Šembera in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonatan Mel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Silver Play 2's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Jarūnas Kuliešius scored to the left of an out of position Jonatan Mel, making the score, 0-17. Jarūnas Kuliešius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Mel having to make a save. FC Alytus United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
