Dirch Glerum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. John-Arne Riise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kiran Tomasini having to make a save. In the 13th play minute Jorge Luna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dirch Glerum. 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Mino. With his leg Dirch Glerum managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christian Mastroiacovo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. John-Arne Riise struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Kiran Tomasini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønning. Francisco Mino scored 3-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirch Glerum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Hønning's Dirch Glerum got control of the ball when Francisco Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Mino got free with Dirch Glerum in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Fernando Morientes in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hønning's Simon Svanström. Dirch Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Mino in the 34th minute of play. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Arne Riise in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurids Hvenekilde was slow to take the kick. During this time Hønning's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Laurids Hvenekilde almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini did a great save. Kiran Tomasini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 38th minute of the match. Francisco Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dirch Glerum made a huge save. A collision led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Earvin Mela hit a great ball. John-Arne Riise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiran Tomasini having to interfere. The supporters of THE ROKERY PIMKIS booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Zbârnea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Mastroiacovo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dirch Glerum. Hønning's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Jorge Luna made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 51st minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jorge Luna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hønning's Dirch Glerum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morientes in the 54th minute of the match. Hønning's Dirch Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Jorge Luna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dirch Glerum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. John-Arne Riise struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Kiran Tomasini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønning. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Luna in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirch Glerum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Earvin Mela threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hønning's Carlos Eduardo Varela quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dirch Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferris Stock in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Mastroiacovo came free, but Dirch Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute John-Arne Riise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 81st minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hønning booed when THE ROKERY PIMKIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Mastroiacovo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Mino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirch Glerum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Luna in the 90th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirch Glerum came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Francisco Mino. But to his dismay, Francisco Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
