John-Arne Riise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John-Arne Riise succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. John-Arne Riise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Engström having to make a save. In the 19th minute John-Arne Riise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirch Glerum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Bronco's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Hønning's Dirch Glerum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hønning from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, John-Arne Riise made a precise shot to the right of Edward Engström. Joxa mé trasan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 30th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doyle Brunson to maneuver through the defense. Laurids Hvenekilde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Flinta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Arne Bronco fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joxa mé trasan's protests and gave Arne Bronco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arne Bronco hit a great ball. Hønning's Dirch Glerum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hønning from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Sabin Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Hønning's John-Arne Riise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Flinta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Flinta, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. John-Arne Riise kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Arne Riise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hønning were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Joxa mé trasan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurids Hvenekilde took the corner. Benne Reijnders made a great header on Hønning's corner, it was just that Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström managed to reach the ball for a save. Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Arne Bronco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirch Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman von Liechtenstein to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play Joxa mé trasan's Doyle Brunson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 74th minute, one of Joxa mé trasan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joxa mé trasan. The goalkeeper, Edward Engström, was totally fooled by Hønning's Laurids Hvenekilde, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Joxa mé trasan defense, John-Arne Riise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Engström. The Joxa mé trasan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Engström should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Arne Riise in the 85th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 97th minute of the match.
