But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Arne Riise couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Simon Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes, Antônio Carlos Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JURIDIQUES F.C and the Hønning players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hønning booed when JURIDIQUES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, John-Arne Riise notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of JURIDIQUES F.C's Sidnei Nunes. Sidnei Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fillip Knutstad hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. JURIDIQUES F.C's Sidnei Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 41st minute of play. Luciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the JURIDIQUES F.C defense, John-Arne Riise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidnei Nunes. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidnei Nunes should have stopped the shot. John-Arne Riise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Jefferson Barreto made the kick off in the second half. John-Arne Riise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JURIDIQUES F.C's Sidnei Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 54th minute of play. John-Arne Riise's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John-Arne Riise helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Hønning's John-Arne Riise dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Sidnei Nunes made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Betinho Beton sent off a good shot on target. Dé Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John-Arne Riise in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Nunes saved JURIDIQUES F.C from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sidnei Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Miguel Pombal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hønning's Simon Svanström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th minute, Hønning's Benne Reijnders ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidnei Nunes. Sidnei Nunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Hønning left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JURIDIQUES F.C.
