In the 6th minute KaoS Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Noel Hargrave went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in León Ponzio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Jacob Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Albuquerque came free, but Hudson Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hudson Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Albuquerque in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sócrates Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. Sócrates Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pierluigi Buffon could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Wellington Pires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierluigi Buffon, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Austra VFC's Sócrates Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pierluigi Buffon. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluis Companys in the 53rd minute of the match. When Maxim Vasilitã fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austra VFC's protests and gave Maxim Vasilitã a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Maxim Vasilitã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Austra VFC booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Hargrave didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zeledon Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hudson Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jacob Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 63rd minute of play. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sócrates Silva in the 64th minute of play. Hudson Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 67th minute. When KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austra VFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho got control of the ball when Jacob Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Austra VFC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zeledon Tabb hit a great ball. KaoS Futbol Club made a substitution. Igor Lebas replaced Jacob Albuquerque. After 81 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Tabb. 86 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Pollard came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Marcus Pollard made a precise shot to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. KaoS Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Noe in the 92nd minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Igor Lebas sent off a good shot on target. Cafu dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Lluis Companys took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Hudson Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the KaoS Futbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Austra VFC.
