The supporters of Sacronas Futbol Club booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Santos Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Monte. Northern California's David Schembri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Stanislao in the 12th minute of play. Denis Stanislao took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Schembri. David Schembri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 19 minutes, Denis Stanislao made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Northern California's David Schembri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. David Schembri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro got control of the ball when Leandro Chorche tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Santos Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Chorche. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Stanislao in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Schembri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute of the match Sacronas Futbol Club got a corner. Northern California's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hernan Crespo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute Fabio Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Chorche got free with Santos Sidro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Denis Stanislao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Schembri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 45th minute Everardo Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Schembri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match, Denis Stanislao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Schembri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Serafin Ilazki's late challenge caught a Sacronas Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Ilazki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Serafin Ilazki hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Denis Stanislao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Schembri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 75th minute of the match Sacronas Futbol Club got a corner. The Sacronas Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sacronas Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
