The corner ended in Matthijs Ebbinge almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bright's 郝泉文 did a great save. Matthijs Ebbinge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but 郝泉文 made a huge save. Thiago Gol struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. 郝泉文 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCs StarS. Thiago Gol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, 郝泉文 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 10 minutes into the game, Thiago Gol lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated 郝泉文. Thiago Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but 郝泉文 made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Bright's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Reitsema came free, but 郝泉文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Thiago Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İzzettin Çağili in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when İzzettin Çağili came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Thiago Gol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 郝泉文. Thiago Gol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 24th minute, Thiago Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 郝泉文. The goal made the score 3-0. Florian Hekman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, SCs StarS's Florian Hekman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 45th match minute, Bright was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 武奕榕 to maneuver through the defense. 郝泉文 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İzzettin Çağili made a kick off. SCs StarS's Thiago Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bright's 郝泉文 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Thiago Gol made a precise shot to the right of 郝泉文. Bright's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 郝泉文 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Gol's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Thiago Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bright's 郝泉文 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bright's 郝泉文 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 71st minute of play. 郝泉文 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SCs StarS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wlodzimierz Kochanowski in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on SCs StarS's corner Wlodzimierz Kochanowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 郝泉文 quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Bright defense, Thiago Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 郝泉文. The Bright fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 郝泉文 should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 85th minute of play forced Bright's goalkeeper 郝泉文 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when Bright was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. 赵沙迅 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 91 minutes on the clock, 董森挺 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bright:s 郝泉文 showed great skill when he stopped Florian Hekman:s penalty. Florian Hekman's late challenge caught a Bright's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Hekman helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Florian Hekman. İzzettin Çağili in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petr Čech, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, SCs StarS's Wlodzimierz Kochanowski got a free kick in the 97th minute. Bright's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
