In the 22nd minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Hudák to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Požgaj got free with Santos Sidro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute of the match, Tomáš Požgaj got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santos Sidro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th minute, Saul Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sacronas Futbol Club had won after a very even match.
