In the 10th minute of the match, Mikel Señoret got a very nice opportunity to score, but Magne Gunnarsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes Talcampeón FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Stenberg who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Per Stenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgardo Rondanelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Henry Fagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Rondanelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Edgardo Rondanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Rönnöfors FF got a corner. Talcampeón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 20th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Edgardo Rondanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lolo Acharan. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Henry Fagerberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli. Edgardo Rondanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 37 in the game by Mikel Señoret from a close distance when the talented Magne Gunnarsson managed to make a qualified save. Rönnöfors FF's players were relieved. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mauricio Vidma hit a great ball. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Rönnöfors FF's Ivar Häll getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 47th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lolo Acharan was the one to do the kick off. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Fritz in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Charme. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Tunström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Rondanelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Marcelino Fritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Marcelino Fritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Fritz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lolo Acharan in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Román Ahrens didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Román Ahrens hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Per Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Rondanelli made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Edgardo Rondanelli stood somewhat misplaced when Henry Fagerberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 83 minute. 85 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Fagerberg. With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli got control of the ball when Henry Fagerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Talcampeón FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per Stenberg took the corner. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Fritz in the 92nd minute of play. After 96 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Henry Fagerberg. Edgardo Rondanelli came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg. But to his dismay, Henry Fagerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.
