If Guido Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sentinel getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rahmat Latuperisa hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahmat Aswatama. Brugge United's Will Deman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rahmat Latuperisa, made in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sentinel's Anwar Nadeak. Anwar Nadeak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Anwar Nadeak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Canor in the 29th minute of the match. Saul Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guido Vissenaeken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anwar Nadeak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Vissenaeken to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Brugge United got a corner. Sentinel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaspar Van Den Broeck ran over to the corner to take the kick. 53 minutes into the game, Sandro Gaúcho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anwar Nadeak. Sandro Gaúcho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 56 played minutes Sentinel got a freekick which was hit by Rahmat Latuperisa. Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. In the 57th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rahmat Latuperisa to maneuver through the defense. Arnauld Van Impe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anwar Nadeak made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rahmat Latuperisa during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Sentinel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahmat Latuperisa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnauld Van Impe got free with Anwar Nadeak in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anwar Nadeak. Anwar Nadeak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Rahmat Latuperisa made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe. Abdika Ohorella kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goalkeeper Anwar Nadeak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waud Huijbrechts. 88 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goalkeeper Anwar Nadeak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnauld Van Impe. Arnauld Van Impe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the final whistle sounded Brugge United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sentinel.
