In the 14th minute Marcus Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Rondanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He walked away shaking his head. Edgardo Rondanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 17th minute of play. Edgardo Rondanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wu Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Talcampeón FC from getting a goal against them. Eladio Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Bivall. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Acharan in the 29th minute of play. Talcampeón FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Samurai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Javiero Charme took the corner. Javiero Charme made a great header on Talcampeón FC's corner, it was just that Samurai's Vince Di Cola managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Mancheño in the 32nd minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Wu Qi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Rondanelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 54 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Allan Bivall. In the 66th minute Marcelino Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Esbjörn Hultstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Samurai got a corner. Talcampeón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mikel Señoret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Vince Di Cola made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Hultstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edgardo Rondanelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Rondanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vince Di Cola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikel Señoret in the 89th minute. Edgardo Rondanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 93rd minute of the match.
