The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulusi Temizkanoğlu got free with Geronimo Ongile in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Gastres FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Gastres FC's Conrado Ramond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the match was over Gastres FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Bestone 716 throughout the match.
