The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's attentive Alexis Alexandris managed to snatch the ball when Egemen Aldemir made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Geronimo Ongile made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Alexis Alexandris sent off a good shot on target. Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Giardino in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. Gastres FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grigoris Kornaros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Fiz Biembengén to fire away a dangerous shot which Geronimo Ongile despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Geronimo Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Giardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's attentive Karl-Åke Norling managed to snatch the ball when Egemen Aldemir made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ramond in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes in the game, Alexis Alexandris dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 25th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Conrado Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Ongile was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Sá came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Conrado Ramond. But to his dismay, Conrado Ramond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gastres FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grigoris Kornaros was slow to take the kick. During this time tHe SOnS of rAGnar's players had a chance to rest. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Giardino in the 51st minute of the match. Teobaldo Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but José Sá made a huge save. Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Charis Leontiou was substituted for Grigoris Kornaros. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Ongile was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. tHe SOnS of rAGnar made a substitution. Giannis Papoutsakis replaced Kosmas Salaminiotis. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Karl-Åke Norling managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Egemen Aldemir in the 73 minute of the game. If Teobaldo Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Alexis Alexandris made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Giardino in the 93rd minute of play. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
