Gastres FC's Pedro Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bottone in the 7th minute of play. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ramond in the 9th minute of play. Alexander Bottone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Pelayo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Ramond in the 13th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Alexander Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Pedro Pelayo managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eddy Ginanjar hit a great ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Alexander Bottone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Alexander Bottone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Pelayo came out of the goal and Alexander Bottone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gastres FC's Edmílson Porto suffered a concussion after 41 minutes and had to leave the field. When Alexander Bottone fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Udinese's protests and gave Alexander Bottone a yellow card for diving instead. Alexander Bottone kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gastres FC's Feliberto Cuarto was substituted for Edmílson Porto. In the 42nd minute, Alexander Bottone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Belmiro to make the kick off. Teobaldo Belmiro had several of the A.S. Udinese's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Alvaro Rotili as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 55th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Ramond in the 56th minute of the match. Conrado Ramond was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Gastres FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Cristiano Paolucci replaced Augusto Clemente. 63 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Bottone came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Ginanjar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Alexander Bottone made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Pelayo. Gastres FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a little luck, A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili got control of the ball when Teobaldo Belmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Bottone scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Pelayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Neto in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 88th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 96th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.S. Udinese had won after a very even match.
