An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 8th minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Rocendo came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Gaufred could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gregorio Lehior made a huge save. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Niewiadomski was slow to take the kick. During this time Powiśle Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. Tytus Niewiadomski made a great header on Powiśle Warszawa's corner, it was just that Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Gaufred in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Lehior saved Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting behind. Gregorio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Gaufred in the 15th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Benito Gaufred dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregorio Lehior, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Izydor Bakes put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, one of Powiśle Warszawa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Boguslaw Siwek had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Claes Anundsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Rocendo. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Rocendo made a kick off. Boguslaw Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Jakubowski in the 55th minute of play. In the 70th minute Adolfo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Adolfo Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lorenzo Rocendo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Lehior. Gregorio Lehior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guguh Saepuloh in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Adolfo Blanco got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Alejandro Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boguslaw Siwek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Gregorio Lehior came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Powiśle Warszawa's Lorenzo Rocendo. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Rocendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3.
