Nestor Gaxan scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Normando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Francesco had several of the Barrilete Cósmico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Cayetano Normando as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 16 in the game by Zacarias Francesco from a close distance when the talented Cayetano Normando managed to make a qualified save. Barrilete Cósmico's players were relieved. Cayetano Normando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Francesco's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Barrilete Cósmico's Cayetano Normando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Leopoldo Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Normando came out of the goal and Leopoldo Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrilete Cósmico's Cayetano Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Fernan Ireno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Characate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Ireno. 29 minutes into the match, Characate FC's Gerardo Santikurtz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Normando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cayetano Normando. In the 35th minute Zacarias Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Gerardo Santikurtz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Normando came out of the goal and Gerardo Santikurtz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Francesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Normando was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrilete Cósmico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emre Can was slow to take the kick. During this time Characate FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Nestor Gaxan drilling the ball in to score 6-0 behind Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper. Zacarias Francesco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cayetano Normando came out and tried to block the shot, but Zacarias Francesco slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Zacarias Francesco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Normando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dariusz Prokowski to make the kick off. Cayetano Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Leopoldo Afonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Normando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 55th minute Leopoldo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Rosendo Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Abastas's late challenge caught a Characate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Abastas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Leopoldo Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Normando was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 69 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Afonso notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Barrilete Cósmico's Cayetano Normando. Cayetano Normando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barrilete Cósmico's Cayetano Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emre Can in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rosendo Abastas hit a great ball. Cayetano Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Barrilete Cósmico's Cayetano Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Santikurtz in the 80th minute of play. Gerardo Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Normando having to interfere. In the 88th minute Rashid Paddington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Normando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Afonso's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Cayetano Normando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Afonso went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Characate FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
