Dutch Rebels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Grimaldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of FC Mims booed when Dutch Rebels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauren Seveneijnts made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dutch Rebels's zone, Emilio Grimaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Vermeiren came out of the goal and Emilio Grimaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th match minute, Dutch Rebels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yens Iansens to maneuver through the defense. Dylan Verhaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Attilio Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Vermeiren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Grimaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Szymon Cieliczka got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lauren Seveneijnts. Dutch Rebels's Gustaaf Vranckx was substituted for Henri Decorte. Dutch Rebels's Daniel Farstad was substituted for Dylan Verhaert. Joaquin Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dutch Rebels's Adam Vermeiren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Grimaldi in the 81st minute of play.
