Simon Högberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taci Argün in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jiang Fan Yun took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jimeno Nevada to make any attempt to save it. Simon Högberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviano Huilcaman in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Wicher Wilchwy Come Back got a freekick which was hit by Wit Malewicz. Izydor Roman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Taci Argün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Högberg. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taci Argün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Izydor Roman.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Izydor Roman was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Simon Högberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radomil Nakonieczny took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Nevada. Jimeno Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jimeno Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Nakonieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Simon Högberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Samuel Pereira sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gavino Rami hit a great ball. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back made a substitution. Tomasz Dziura replaced Izydor Roman. Club Atlético Magallanes's Ahmet Demirci was substituted for Taci Argün. In the 64th minute, Gavino Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Dziura came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Dziura in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silviano Huilcaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Högberg having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Dziura came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Gavino Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Högberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Răzvan in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Tomasz Dziura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Jimeno Nevada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Horia Răzvan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimeno Nevada. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Răzvan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Tomasz Dziura put it in 6-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jimeno Nevada. Club Atlético Magallanes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
