After 10 minutes, Sebastian Szymanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusaybin Demirspor and the Magic is Back players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dušan Tadic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nusaybin Demirspor getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sebastian Szymanski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Palermo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dušan Tadic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Martin Palermo sped through Nusaybin Demirspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dušan Tadic. In the 24thth minute of the game Martin Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nusaybin Demirspor's Dušan Tadic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Magic is Back got a corner. Nusaybin Demirspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Battaglia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Walter Samuel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 40 minutes into the match, Gabi Batistuta notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Nusaybin Demirspor's Dušan Tadic. Dušan Tadic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nusaybin Demirspor's Dušan Tadic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Palermo in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palermo in the 46th minute of play forced Nusaybin Demirspor's goalkeeper Dušan Tadic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

This resulted in a 0-16 score and a disappointed Dušan Tadic as he didn't even see the shot coming. Magic is Back played a much better game than Nusaybin Demirspor and deserved their victory. The Nusaybin Demirspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
