He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magic is Back reached it. Sebastián Battaglia, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With his leg Erubiel Osoro managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Magic is Back's Martin Palermo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Palermo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Osoro. That made the score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. Martin Palermo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Erubiel Osoro 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Bihar was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Medero in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Osoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Palermo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Osoro saved Hacha y Tiza FC from getting behind. Erubiel Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on Magic is Back's corner Sebastián Battaglia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Osoro quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Potente in the 76th minute of play forced Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Osoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Potente's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Erubiel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 82nd minute of play. Atilano Millan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Osvaldo Potente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magic is Back fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Osvaldo Potente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
