Øyvind Norman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by AEK FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Orlondon was slow to take the kick. During this time PLUMIN's players had a chance to rest. Kyrre Holmefjord kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of AEK FC booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
