Agostinho Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Øyvind Norman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Agostinho Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Øyvind Norman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Agostinho Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Øyvind Norman. AEK FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Øyvind Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Franciszek Lerych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Lorentzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Øyvind Norman came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Jadymy Durś's Agostinho Negri. In the 35th minute, Agostinho Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jadymy Durś fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. AEK FC's Øyvind Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Barrieta in the 37th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Negri to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Negri got free with Øyvind Norman in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Agostinho Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Øyvind Norman.
