Alessandro Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Filippini got free with Alejandro Gavilanes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christophe Dureuil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Boris Mikaelsson in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Royal PSG's Ferhat Özsan. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Alströmer in the 26th minute of play. Kenny Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tristan Bétourne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferhat Özsan made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fred Torres immediately put the ball in play. 38 minutes into the match, Kenny Alströmer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tristan Bétourne. Royal PSG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenny Alströmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half Porteño Prowess FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Porteño Prowess FC made a substitution. Hassan Brousseau replaced Hieronim Jarosz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Filippini was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edoardo Filippini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal PSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alejandro Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Filippini in the 62nd minute of the match. The Royal PSG fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porteño Prowess FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
