Gabríel Batistuta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Sergio Goicoechea 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea got control of the ball when Yenal Nizami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yenal Nizami who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Sergio Goicoechea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Batistuta in the 62nd minute of play. Yenal Nizami could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sergio Goicoechea made a huge save. Gabríel Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Donatello hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Luiz Gustavo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Gabríel Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Gabríel Batistuta came free, but Sergio Goicoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Goicoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muzaffer Bozoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Gabríel Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Gabríel Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-5 became the score in the 94th minute when Gabríel Batistuta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GRÊMIO throughout the match.
