The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Capixaba got free with Clemente Benvido in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Quirino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clemente Benvido firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ata Necmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Villanueva in the 24th minute of play. Canalla Fuego's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER the free kick. Elói Arruda hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Kalischer came free, but Ata Necmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Jailson Tasso got a free kick in the 47th minute. Canalla Fuego made a substitution. Carlos Aimar replaced Aristides Villanueva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Capixaba in the 90th minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Acácio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Benvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Capixaba in the 97th minute of the match.
