The corner ended in Pedro Manex almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao did a great save. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Ehrler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Serafo in the 12th minute of play forced EL DIABLO FC's goalkeeper Vlatko Bošković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Manex came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Estavan's late challenge caught a EL DIABLO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Ehrler, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Delmiro Mazuste struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Guaberto Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL DIABLO FC. Adan Gonza scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlatko Bošković, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vlatko Bošković made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Gonza in the 35th minute. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Manex in the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Elpidio Markel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Guaberto Cucao skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Delmiro Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Markel got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Buinton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guaberto Cucao came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascual Buinton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 89th minute. When Nunez Gizon fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Nunez Gizon a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Gizon. In the 97th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Chap to maneuver through the defense.
