After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cucao. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cucao should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Gizon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 18th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Hendrik Ohmer came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Cucao was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Tiburcio Guillelmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Cucao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Marcos Acuña might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Cucao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Acuña ran back to his position shaking his head. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Cucao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Adan Gonza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Evelio Salvadore made a huge save. When C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mainumby's goalie prevented a goal.
Mainumby's Ezequiel Sugoi was substituted for Dante Sidro. Mainumby's Lázaro Chap was substituted for Ladislao Serafo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Cucao saved Mainumby from getting behind. Adan Gonza took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Salvadore. Evelio Salvadore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 59th minute of play. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. Nunez Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Salvadore having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Marcos Acuña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sven-Hendrik Ohmer came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the C.A.Esparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Hendrik Ohmer couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Mainumby's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Hendrik Ohmer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Junior notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao. Guaberto Cucao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 89th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Oswaldo Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Esparta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Junior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Acuña came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guaberto Cucao could save by the left post. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Natalio Etxekopar hit a great ball. After 98 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Etxekopar. The Mainumby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.Esparta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
