The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner. Xove Høj went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Consejo del Mate's Julio Kemen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Peyo Fonelleda took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlatko Bošković. Vlatko Bošković dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after EL DIABLO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xove Høj took the corner. Xove Høj made a great header on Consejo del Mate's corner, it was just that EL DIABLO FC's Vlatko Bošković managed to reach the ball for a save. 25 minutes into the match, EL DIABLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but Vlatko Bošković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after EL DIABLO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xove Høj took the corner. After having played for 31 minutes, Peyo Fonelleda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peyo Fonelleda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vlatko Bošković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 33rd minute of play. The throw-in from Pedro Manex in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Consejo del Mate's Ervin Alla. In the 42nd minute, EL DIABLO FC's Pascual Buinton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Peyo Fonelleda scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlatko Bošković, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 65th minute of play forced EL DIABLO FC's goalkeeper Vlatko Bošković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ervin Alla kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Vlatko Bošković came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda. But to his dismay, Peyo Fonelleda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 76th minute of play forced EL DIABLO FC's goalkeeper Vlatko Bošković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, EL DIABLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but Vlatko Bošković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Peyo Fonelleda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consejo del Mate's supporters rose to their feet, but Peyo Fonelleda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlatko Bošković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, EL DIABLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but Vlatko Bošković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after EL DIABLO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xove Høj took the corner. After taking down the ball on Consejo del Mate's corner Julio Kemen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vlatko Bošković quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peyo Fonelleda got free with Vlatko Bošković in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlatko Bošković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 91st minute of the match. Vlatko Bošković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, EL DIABLO FC's Vlatko Bošković got control of the ball when Peyo Fonelleda tried to sneak it across the goal line.
