Julio Kemen struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Guaberto Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. In the 10th minute Peyo Fonelleda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Kemen went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Nunez Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nunez Gizon sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Peyo Fonelleda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consejo del Mate's supporters rose to their feet, but Peyo Fonelleda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Cucao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peyo Fonelleda scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Peyo Fonelleda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Cucao was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 35th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Serafo in the 38th minute of play. Peyo Fonelleda scored 1-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peyo Fonelleda went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peyo Fonelleda made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 53rd minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luis Gelacio hit a great ball. Peyo Fonelleda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Cucao having to make a save. Peyo Fonelleda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 56th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Luis Gelacio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Consejo del Mate's Ervin Alla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Guaberto Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 61st minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Chap in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Gizon came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Guaberto Cucao successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Luis Gelacio fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Luis Gelacio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 82nd minute of play. If Peyo Fonelleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyo Fonelleda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guaberto Cucao firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 93 minutes Mainumby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xove Høj who took care of the corner kick. Xove Høj made a great header on Consejo del Mate's corner, it was just that Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao managed to reach the ball for a save. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Mainumby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xove Høj took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ervin Alla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Cucao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
