Hugo Orlando Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Peyo Fonelleda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but André Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Fagrell in the 22nd minute of the match. The corner led to FC Blueskatterna's Jens-Ola Haegg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Peyo Fonelleda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Nordmark having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Peter Björkman notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Björkman made a kick off. With 51 minutes on the clock, Ervin Alla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 50th minute, one of Consejo del Mate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Consejo del Mate. Henrik Löv shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 55th minute, Peter Björkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 57 minutes, Peyo Fonelleda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Consejo del Mate and the FC Blueskatterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute Peyo Fonelleda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Isaksson came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fagildo Pamanes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Björkman in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Peyo Fonelleda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. André Nordmark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peyo Fonelleda's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Consejo del Mate defense, Alex Isaksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kevin Fagrell hit a great ball. After 93 minutes of play, FC Blueskatterna's Henrik Löv made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Erik Majman charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Majman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peyo Fonelleda struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. André Nordmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Blueskatterna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Consejo del Mate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
