Ferdinando Buccella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Feliciano Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Lehior in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre City's zone, Sergiu Lăzărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ponc came out of the goal and Sergiu Lăzărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Lehior in the 18th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Villa Mitre City got a corner. FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urbano Mendiko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Petre Bogătan's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Bogătan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Petre Bogătan hit a great ball. Ferdinando Buccella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ovidiu Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Villa Mitre City's Ferdinando Buccella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidiu Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the FC Cosula-BTF- defense, Saturnino Lehior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Marin. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Marin should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Fernendo got free with Ovidiu Marin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match, Feliciano Fernendo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidiu Marin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute Ferdinando Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin got control of the ball when Feliciano Fernendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Villa Mitre City's Ferdinando Buccella in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie prevented a goal. Aurel Lăceanu's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Aurel Lăceanu hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Dacian Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Buccella in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Marin saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. Ariel Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 73rd minute of the match. Petre Bogătan got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Petre Bogătan hit a great ball. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Sparkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ferdinando Buccella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ovidiu Marin made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Feliciano Fernendo made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Marin. FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 86th play minute Feliciano Fernendo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidiu Marin. 0-8. Ovidiu Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Fernendo. When Ferdinando Buccella got free in front of the goal in the 94th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ovidiu Marin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match was over Villa Mitre City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Cosula-BTF- throughout the match.
