The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Midtun Fc from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Wallin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Roy Jama made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Custódio in the 7th minute of play forced Midtun Fc's goalkeeper Roy Jama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simen Larsson tried in the game's 9th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Roy Jama. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Tomé Araújo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomé Araújo in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roy Jama, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 14 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Øvstebø came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Roy Jama successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roy Jama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé Araújo in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Tomé Araújo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roy Jama. If Johannes Westberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percy Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bård Hem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Tomé Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Midtun Fc's Roy Jama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35th play minutes Tomé Araújo shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Roy Jama and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Jama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jo Øvstebø hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tomé Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Roy Jama made a huge save. With his leg Roy Jama managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roy Jama made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tomé Araújo sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Ingvar Wallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scragbadun FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midtun Fc the free kick. Ingvar Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomé Araújo made the kick off in the second half. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Araújo in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Westberg in the 54th minute of play forced Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Roy Jama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Jama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Midtun Fc defense, Tomé Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Jama. The Midtun Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Jama should have stopped the shot. If Tomé Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Jama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Wallin in the 67th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Tomé Araújo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomé Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Roy Jama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simen Larsson during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simen Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Anísio de Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roy Jama. Midtun Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Araújo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Jama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Tomé Araújo sped through Midtun Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roy Jama. After 96 minutes, Tomé Araújo made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Scragbadun FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
