Scragbadun FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dida Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 12th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fred Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Paiva having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Fred Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Tiaguinho Torres made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Reinaldo Severo however managed to control. Tomé Araújo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jake Leonard. Jake Leonard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Fred Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Percy Paiva. Scragbadun FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. If Fred Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Nilsson in the 39th minute of play forced Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Leonel Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Percy Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Araújo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Nilsson came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percy Paiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Nilsson went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Fred Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 67th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percy Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 70th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Severo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reinaldo Severo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Percy Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. WINNING ELEVEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andro Reiman in the 74th minute. The corner led WINNING ELEVEN's Fulgencio Xabel to fire away a dangerous shot which Percy Paiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 79th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neron Veterini to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Ostadar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Scragbadun FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tiaguinho Torres hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Xabel. Percy Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Ostadar in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Fred Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. After 92 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Ostadar. The Scragbadun FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WINNING ELEVEN's performance. The match ended with a win for WINNING ELEVEN.
