Villa Mitre City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urbano Mendiko in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Mendiko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roy Jama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th match minute, Midtun Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simen Larsson to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Midtun Fc got a freekick which was hit by Simen Larsson. After 20 played minutes, Villa Mitre City's Urbano Mendiko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roy Jama came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Mitre City reached it. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Westberg in the 22nd minute of play. Jo Øvstebø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ariel Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Buccella in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Jama saved Midtun Fc from getting behind. Roy Jama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Buccella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Jama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Buccella, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 44 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Mendiko. The supporters of Midtun Fc booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Honorato Demesio put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roy Jama. The Midtun Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Mitre City were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinando Buccella to make the kick off. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Øvstebø in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Villa Mitre City got a corner. Midtun Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorato Demesio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 63rd minute Honorato Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Jama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Demesio in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Jama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Jo Øvstebø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Midtun Fc's goalkeeper Roy Jama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simen Larsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Midtun Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Villa Mitre City a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honorato Demesio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Midtun Fc's Roy Jama. 0-3. Villa Mitre City's Long Yuan Di was substituted for Benigno Ibañez. Joakim Bø hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's Honorato Demesio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Jama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Ferdinando Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Jama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Jama made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Honorato Demesio sent off a good shot on target. The Villa Mitre City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Mitre City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
