Dieguinho Paraíba came out of the goal and Camille Trudeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alican İçten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Jie Fan came free, but Tao Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alican İçten in the 27th minute of the match. Dieguinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alican İçten, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alican İçten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dieguinho Paraíba. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Lopes came free, but Dieguinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alican İçten, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Dieguinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alican İçten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 53rd minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi Couto. 67 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Sandström came free, but Tao Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flames FC's Tao Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Veiga in the 69th minute of play. Didi Couto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tao Xi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dieguinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tao Xi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 81st minute of the match. Tao Xi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Jie Fan went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Flames FC made a substitution. Miguel Campos replaced Arturo Di Girolamo. After 88 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Veiga. Dieguinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Berkowitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Campos scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dieguinho Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GeRaÇãO-83's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
