After a defensive mix-up in MEXACOMX's zone, Victoriano Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Januário Rangel came out of the goal and Victoriano Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CERPA's Eugenio Asier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save CERPA from getting a goal against them. Victoriano Tonete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Januário Rangel having to make a save. In the 20th minute Victoriano Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Roldan in the 23rd minute of the match. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Jordão in the 27th minute of the match. Wilhelm Volle struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. CERPA's Eugenio Asier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save CERPA from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Asier was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Tomás Jordão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Jordão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CERPA made a substitution. Ignacio Viviano replaced Esteve Seber. In the 50th minute CERPA were awarded a corner. Ignacio Viviano went to the cornerflag to take it. Ignacio Viviano made a great header on CERPA's corner, it was just that MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to CERPA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Victoriano Tonete hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Guerra came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CERPA defense, Ricardo Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Asier. The CERPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Asier should have stopped the shot. MEXACOMX's Fryderyk Gierlach was substituted for Ricardo Guerra. 88 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Macías. In the 91st minute, Fryderyk Gierlach made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Asier. CERPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ignacio Viviano made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mauricio Macías however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Sedillo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ignacio Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Mauricio Macías could shoot a difficult shot in the 99th minute, which Januário Rangel however easily saved by the left post.
