Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sigvard Boström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gasteiz Latorre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Boström was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Gasteiz Latorre scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigvard Boström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danilo Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gasteiz Latorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Gasteiz Latorre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Boström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zbyszko Kajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Del Manfredi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sigvard Boström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gasteiz Latorre in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Boström saved SAWEX FC from getting behind. Sigvard Boström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gasteiz Latorre's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the SAWEX FC defense, Gasteiz Latorre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Boström. The SAWEX FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Boström should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Hetman in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Gasteiz Latorre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigvard Boström. SAWEX FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gasteiz Latorre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SAWEX FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Olaf Hetman hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Anthon Öberg replaced Gasteiz Latorre. In the 53rd minute, Danilo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Haszczak in the 59th minute of the match. Anthon Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthon Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sigvard Boström made a huge save. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAWEX FC's goalkeeper Sigvard Boström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anthon Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sigvard Boström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SAWEX FC's zone, Justino Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Boström came out of the goal and Justino Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigvard Boström was a little too slow when Anthon Öberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 82nd minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. SAWEX FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Anthon Öberg scored to the left of an out of position Sigvard Boström, making the score, 1-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Öberg in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Boström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigvard Boström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthon Öberg's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Anthon Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Club Dep. Soc. Rodo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SAWEX FC.
