Ron Boemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Koc in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ron Boemans saved TurboUC from getting behind. The corner ended in Viteazul Flore almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TurboUC's Ron Boemans did a great save. When John Snow came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the TurboUC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Snow couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goalkeeper Ron Boemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Ming Sheng. Ron Boemans made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Shi Ming Sheng sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Gacek kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Snow in the 16th minute of play. John Snow struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Martin Crețu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TurboUC. In the 22nd minute Juan González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Viteazul Flore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ron Boemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute of the match, Shi Ming Sheng got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ron Boemans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Okan Koc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ron Boemans made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Panait to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute John Snow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When John Snow came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the TurboUC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Koc in the 38th minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Ron Boemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when John Snow came free, but Martin Crețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Stiinta-Univ.'s Ron Boemans threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Panait, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

TurboUC's Xie Zheng Liang was substituted for Dušan Tadić. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Snow made a kick off. Shi Ming Sheng took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ron Boemans. Ron Boemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ron Boemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Panait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after TurboUC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurel Panait took the corner. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Shi Ming Sheng made a precise shot to the right of Ron Boemans. TurboUC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Martin Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Snow in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Panait came free, but Ron Boemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TurboUC's Ron Boemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 75th minute of play. TurboUC made a substitution. Felipo Manzano replaced Aleksey Mazaev. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by TurboUC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurel Panait was slow to take the kick. Ron Boemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Panait, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 87 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Juan González. 96 minutes into the game, Juan González recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Crețu. Juan González showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stiinta-Univ. had won after a very even match.
