Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Okan Koc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Boström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olgierd Haszczaks short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Martin Crețu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Okan Koc succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Virgil Oargă replaced Viteazul Flore.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okan Koc to strike the kick off in the second half. If Valeriu Morovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute.
