Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammet Altın in the 8th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krasimir Mishovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Morovan came free, but Krasimir Mishovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viteazul Flore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krasimir Mishovski having to interfere. In the 26th minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krasimir Mishovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Martin Crețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Benjamim Urbano got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valeriu Morovan. Krasen Kalenov kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Ming Sheng to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Bing Yi to maneuver through the defense. Martin Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Nazario in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a corner. Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Krasen Kalenov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lokomotiv Plovdiv's corner Krasen Kalenov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Crețu quite easily take care of the ball. Krasimir Mishovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Morovan in the 81st minute of play. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Facundo Nazario notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu. Martin Crețu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes of play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Valeriu Morovan made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krasimir Mishovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sándor Markovits kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Stiinta-Univ. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
