Jiang Xing Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Passos having to interfere. Kiko Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nojus Bikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Gilabert came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nojus Bikas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, E.C. Jonas Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidijus Merkelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
