After a defensive mix-up in Expresso Ranelagh's zone, Virgil van Dijk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hu Chao Hai came out of the goal and Virgil van Dijk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hu Chao Hai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Oko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Prospero Paulin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Expresso Ranelagh's protests and gave Prospero Paulin a yellow card for diving instead. Prospero Paulin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Hu Chao Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Kosakowski in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Fausto Beattie made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Loco Oko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Chao Hai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓昆烽 in the 61st minute of play. Expresso Ranelagh's Hu Chao Hai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Oko in the 69th minute of play. Brandon Uchiha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon Uchiha's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Uchiha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Uchiha to maneuver through the defense.
